Technically Games organisers Lilly Ryan and Ben Naulls join Emma Siu to discuss her thoughts on how community managers and a strong community engagement strategy can assist game developers to improve the technical aspects of their work, including discovering security vulnerabilities and nascent cheating trends, intellectual property concerns, and technical improvements.

Emma Siu is a geneticist turned award-winning Community Manager. She developed her skills in Community Management and Communications in the indie game scene and further honed in AAA mobile live-service. Emma has written for Kotaku and subsequently been featured on sites such as Gizmodo, Gamasutra (now Game Developer), MassivelyOP, etc. She has presented as a speaker at Game Developers Conference in San Francisco, Games Connect Asia Pacific, Geek Girl Academy's SheMakes_Games, GX Australia, and PAX Australia.
During Community Manager Advancement Day 2021, Emma was awarded the Community Professional of the Year: Gaming Award.
She was featured in MCV Pacific's 30 under 30 for 2016 and 2017, and Develop's 30 under 30 as a honourable mention, and has been named as one of the 100 most Influential Women in Games by MCV Pacific.
